The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum was redesigned for its 10th anniversary on November 10, 2007 to incorporate new media technology and interpretive approaches. The critical task of designing, fabricating, and installing forty-two different exhibits needed to be accomplished in a mere two and half year time frame.
Exhibits focused on providing an opportunity for the public to meet the man behind the presidency and to be inspired by his life of service.
Touch-screen technology provides visitors with detailed, yet engaging insights into the complexity of serving as President of the United States. An object theater provides a multi-media experience that tells the story of the Persian Gulf War from the soldier’s point of view. Immersive environments are used to draw the visitor into the mood and feel of the historic eras represented throughout the museum.
