Hurst Ranch Museum, West Covina, CA. Interpreting the historic farm site, equipment, and life of the Hurst Family.

A community historical museum showcasing the Hurst family collection, the Ranch also includes the strongest gun and tobacco collection on the west coast. The finished project will feature a barn interior exhibition on daily farm life, and a community center presenting a "regional roots" object theater.

With large-scale historical photos and interpretive text for support, each artifact and object is something children can try out for themselves. Some of the objects at the Ranch are an integral part of the surroundings, while others enhance or interpret the environment.
