The
National P.O.W. Museum in Andersonville, Georgia is an emotional
experience. The building architecture, works of art, displays, and
video presentations work together to tell the story of the American
prisoner of war.
Each
room in the museum presents a different facet of the shared P.O.W.
story. The exhibit begins with a short film entitled, "Echoes of
Captivity" narrated by General Colin Powell. Then the visitor begins
to tour the various areas of the museum:
